Human Resources Division
The Human Resource division is instrumental in personnel management, nominating for academic positions and staff specialists, manpower planning and compensation, personal information registration, developing and training staff, and coordinating funds and welfares.

Responsibilities


Manpower Jobs and Compensation


  1. Process the recruitment for the university staff
  2. Evaluate the operating performances of the university staff during the probationary period
  3. Evaluate the operating performance of the senior officials and the university staff
  4. Consider to give a rise for the senior officials and the university staff
  5. Evaluate the operating performances and consider paying the compensations of the first-level managers
  6. Evaluate the operating performances of the full-time professors who got the five-year contract renewals with the ages from 60 to 65 years
  7. Resignation

Determination and Assignation


  1. Require for the higher academic rank promotion
  2. Require for the higher position in the field of operation
  3. Recruit and evaluate candidates to be the first-level manager (the chief)
  4. Recruit and evaluate candidates to be the middle manager (the secretary of the faculty)
  5. Nominate the administration of the faculty

Development and Training


  1. Ask for a leave for pursuing a degree of Chiang Mai University staff and follow up the staff’s educational advancement
  2. Be responsible for scholarship applicants and summary reports of educational budgets
  3. Ask for a leave approval of officials and Chiang Mai University staff via the CMU-MIS system
  4. Request for approval for staff and professors to attend meeting, training, seminar arranged by the personnel administrative division
  5. Request for approval for work-related travels (work, meeting, training, and seminar) with self-development budgets and travel summaries
  6. Human resource development’s training project for academic and operation personnel
  7. Research funding for a career advancement

Human Resource Record and Information


  1. Request for Thai royal decorations for government employees and university staff
  2. Issue salary certificate, employment certificate, certificate for Visa application and authority permission certificate
  3. Coordinate, review job assignments and TOR/JA performance through CMU-MIS
  4. Conduct databases and progress data systems on CMU-MIS, CMU-HR, e-office, and e-ARCHCMU

Funding and Social Welfare


  1. Social welfare division
  2. Provident fund division
  3. Disbursement for healthcare from group health insurance

Investigation, Regulation, and Appeal and Grievance


  1. Investigate truth, regulation, and appeal and grievance within the faculty
