On January 27, 2020, at Sala Dham Hall, Chiang Mai University had organized a Congratulatory Party for Honorary Degree Recipients of the 54th Commencement Ceremony. Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, the President of Chiang Mai University, the head of the ceremony confered the token of appreciation to the Honorary Degree Recipients and gave a congratulatory speech to all recipints. Professor Emeritus Dr. Hiroaki Kimura participated in the ceremony and gave a speech expressing his feelings in the occasion of being conferred an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Architecture from Chiang Mai University Academic Year 2019.
